At Conspire Studio, we guide groups through transformative art-making experiences. Our creative process is rooted in art therapy and emphasizes process over skill. We believe that making art brings people together, connecting us to one of the things that makes us human: our innate creativity.

You’re looking for something different for your team. Something that is both relaxing and enlivening, meaningful and connective. Something that invites playfulness without being cheesy.

Whether it’s a two-hour session, a half day, or a full day deep dive, we’ll guide your team every step of the way. You will connect around a shared theme, choosing from one of our presets or letting us build something to suit your team’s needs (all full-day bookings are a custom theme build). Each person spends part of the time in their own creative process, with space to share (optional) back to the group. There is absolutely no skill or experience needed.

What a Session Looks Like

Every team is different, so we shape the session around yours. A typical visit runs like this:

  • A warm welcome and a simple way to settle in

  • A guided, art-therapy-inspired creative activity, led start to finish by our facilitators

  • Built-in moments to talk, laugh, and notice each other

  • Something each person made, to take back to their desk

No art experience needed. Nobody is bad at this. That’s the whole idea.

Frequently-Asked Questions

  • At Conspire Studio, your team takes part in a guided, hands-on creative session led by our facilitators. It's a calmer, more personal alternative to trivia nights, escape rooms, and brewery tours, and everyone goes home with something they made.

  • Up to about 12 people in our Asheville studio. For larger teams, up to 75, we run the same kind of session at an off-site venue.

  • No. Our sessions are designed for complete beginners. There's no skill to get right and nothing to win.

  • Yes. We shape each session around your group, your goals, and the feeling you want for the day, from staff retreats to milestone celebrations, using one of our themes or something fully custom.

  • Conspire Studio is in Asheville, North Carolina. We host in-studio and can travel off-site for bigger groups.

  • Creative team building workshops are facilitated group sessions that typically offer collaborative painting, drawing, and design challenges. Through collaborative creative expression teams strengthen trust and communication in a relaxed environment. Unlike traditional team building exercises, creative workshops challenge team dynamics with an artistic outcome.
