Here’s how it looks:

1. A warm welcome and a mindfulness practice to settle in together.

2. A time to talk and share ideas around your chosen theme, getting to know or learning something surprising and new about each other.

3. Non-conversational artmaking to a playlist of inspiring music, with full reign of our consciously sourced art materials, including collage, natural paints, clay, and coloring supplies. No wrong way to do it.

4. Time to reflect and share what we discovered.

5. A handmade art piece to take home.

Wedding Guest Experiences

Getting married in Asheville, North Carolina or hosting guests who are? A guided creative session is a warm, grounding way to bring people together before the ceremony, especially guests who don't know each other yet.

Our Morning-of sessions are led by experienced creative facilitators through a meaningful, playful, and connective process designed to bring your guests into a relaxed, open-hearted state before they head to your ceremony. It works just as well the evening before, as a welcome gathering for out-of-town guests.

Pick the one of our preset themes that fits the moment, or we'll build something custom around your ceremony and guests.

Sessions run 90 minutes to two hours, your choice, and everyone takes their finished piece home. We host up to 25 guests at your venue or hotel, or up to 12 in our Charlotte Street studio.

  • Our cozy studio holds up to 12 people, but we also travel! Let us come to your hotel or venue and facilitate our transformative artmaking process for groups up to 30.

  • Yes. Our Morning-Of and welcome-gathering sessions are built for wedding guests, especially when many of them are meeting for the first time. It's a grounding, connective way to start the celebration.

  • Not at all. Every session is beginner-friendly and fully guided. No skills or experience needed. No wrong way to do it.

  • Tell us your dates and group size and we'll help you place it, whether that's the first night, a slow Sunday morning, or the morning of the ceremony.

  • Conspire Studio is centrally located on Charlotte St, just 5 minutes from downtown Asheville, North Carolina.

  • Yes it is. Our sessions are about creative play, meaning-making, and transformation. Regardless of their experience or comfort with art making, your group will be lead through a grounding, connective, and imaginative experience by our creative facilitators.

  • For our two hour session, you’re welcome to bring food and drinks (no liquor), and if you'd like us to arrange a cake from OWL bakery, we can add that on. We also have complementary tea, coffee and snacks always available.
